While we have created brands for a large number of new and emerging categories, there are certain categories like dairy, organic and speciality foods that required depth, knowledge and deep understanding of sourcing, product development and manufacturing.
For such categories, we have identified and developed strong partnerships with global leaders like US-based Hain Celestial for ‘good for you’ snacks and speciality foods, and New Zealand based dairy cooperative Fonterra. Our collaboration with Fonterra, a 130-year old cooperative that is among the global leaders in a hyper-competitive segment, is a special relationship where two organisations have come together to achieve Dairy 2.0 in India. Through this partnership, we are introducing a value-added portfolio of dairy products.
We also entered into a joint venture with Switzerland-based Mibelle AG, a leading and recognized name in the personal care products category, with an aim to design new product concepts and market new brands in the personal care category in the Indian market. Mibelle’s products are known for its high Swiss quality standards and innovation. With this partnership, we aim to capture the booming growth in this category in the Indian market.
